1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Alexandros Papageorgiou, a sole trader operating as MisePress (“we”, “us”), collects and handles your personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data we process about you.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, login credentials.
- Profile and content: display name and any content you submit (e.g. support messages).
- Site connection data: URL of WordPress sites you connect, plugin activation metadata.

Payment-related data (card details, billing address, tax data) is collected directly by Paddle as Merchant of Record — we do not see or store full payment details.
3. How we use your data
- Provide the Service — create your account, deliver the plugin, manage activations (legal basis: contract).
- Send transactional email — receipts, security notifications, account changes (contract).
- Send product updates and marketing — only with your consent (consent — manage in your dashboard).
- Improve the Service — usage analytics, debugging (legitimate interests).
- Customer support — respond to your questions (contract / legitimate interests).
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
- Comply with the law — accounting, tax, legal requests (legal obligation).
4. Who we share your data with
- Service providers (subprocessors): hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, analytics — bound by contract to handle data only on our instructions.
- Paddle — Merchant of Record for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our subprocessors are based outside the UK/EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions).
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax/accounting records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. UK/EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.
To exercise your rights, open a request from your support dashboard.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging — to protect your personal data.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes to this Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
